Gewürztraminer is rapidly gaining popularity among Finger Lakes winemakers and wine drinkers. Our 2011 “Gewurz” is a great introduction to this aromatic grape. Powerful notes of honey, rose petal, and lychee dominate this wine. The soft acidity is complimented by a hint of sweetness on the finish that compliments Asian foods (Thai currys in particular) and also makes this a popular choice with Thanksgiving turkey.
