It's Rosé Season!
Rosé, a summer must have.
In 2016, we produced two very distinct dry rosé wines. Our 2016 Merlot Dry Rosé is sure to be a favorite throughout the summer, as it was the larger in production of the two rosé. It is a perfect summer sipper with its hints of young strawberries and cream.
With one small lot made of Cabernet Franc, or 2016 Cabernet Franc Dry Rosé was a very limited production. This rosé was hand bottled, corked, and waxed. We decided to give you a look at what it is like to hand bottle in a commercial winery in the Finger Lakes. Video found below.
You better stock up quick before they're gone! Rosé is in high demand as we move through spring and into the summer months here in the Finger Lakes.

Bellangelo Finds Gold Out West
A discovery of gold was reported in San Francisco newspapers, 1848. As our ancestors headed west with hopes of finding gold, so did Bellangelo in 2017.
Bellangelo's 2015 Gibson Vineyard Riesling returned home after winning a Double Gold Metal in The San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. The Riesling grapes used to produce this wine are 100% from Gibson Vineyard, located just north of the winery on Seneca lake. It is just one of the small family owned vineyards that produces grapes for Bellangelo.
Bellangelo's 2015 Dry Riesling also stood on the winners podium after receiving a gold metal in the Bone Dry Riesling category. These are just two of many award winning Bellangelo wines.
We are proud to announce the accomplishments of these Rieslings, as they debut the winery's new head winemaker, Christopher Missick.
