Harvest Help

We're seeking a harvest Intern through November that could lead to a long term position.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for, but not limited to:
•  Assisting in receiving and processing fruit
•  Performing punch downs
•  Monitoring fermentations (brix/temperatures)
•  Racking, filling, topping, and stirring barrels
•  Removing pomace from tanks & presses
•  Operating the crusher/destemmer, press, conveyor, and pump
•  Safe operation of a forklift
•  General cleaning and sanitization of the winery and winery equipment.

Previous cellar experience or winemaking education is desired as is a valid forklift license and a serious passion for wine & winemaking. A strong attention to detail, positive attitude, willingness to work hard and get dirty, and ability to work well with others is essential. Candidates must have the ability to perform the physical demands of cellar work.
